This drawing was done for a friend who travels with her husband each year to St. Bart's Island. They save up all year long, not giving each other any presents on birthdays or special occasions, so that this can be their one "big gift." Apparently it is wonderful, from the food to the views. Each of these scenes are taken from photos my friend submitted of their favorite spots. The house and pool scenes are both taken from the villa they stay in. ReplyDeleteThis is just weird. I was being my strange self and googling people that I've known from the past and I tried your name. You see, I'm Jackie Morgan (now Frerking) from jordan high and my mom had told me about a year ago that she heard about a painting you did for a church, which was beautiful BTW. What's scary is that this is the page that came up. My sister lived in St. Barts for one year, I visited her and I'm gonna have to send her this link. She'll flip out. You've captured it beautifully. Glad you are doing so well and have put your talents to such a perfect subject. Jackie
