This drawing is of our friend who gave birth to her and her husband's first child, a beautiful, big baby boy this past weekend. My prior post referred to her and her family, and to their hospitality. It was so wonderful to be with them during such an important and precious moment, that I felt moved to execute this drawing both for them and for Emily and I, to commemorate his entry into the world at 9 lbs 6 ounces.
