The Mission of the Church

These banners were completed last weekend for my parents' church, Hope Valley Baptist. I was asked to prepare them to be hung in the church's sanctuary during their World Missions month. I thought that the end of Matthew's gospel, Jesus' address to His Apostles at the ascension, would be an appropriate summing up of the charge of Christ to fill all the world with His Gospel. This project is similar to an earlier one I did with my good friend Brad entitled "The Sharpie Saints." They were so named because those banners were done completely in Sharpie markers like these.
