This drawing of my Grandfather, Thomas Walker, holding my cousin Patrick is for Patrick's mother, my Aunt Esther. Momma thought that she would love this picture. My Grandfather died just before I was born, but I'm told that it was a signature of his to be cross-legged on a chair holding a cigar in his hand. I know that he must have been a great man because of the way momma talks about him. Patrick is also wearing a "signature" of his from childhood - "HEE HAW" overalls. Apparently he loved those pants.
