This was a father's day gift to my father of his parents, affectionately dubbed by us grandkids "Papa and Pama" (pronounced 'paw paw and paw maw'). I was very happy with the drawing, as I thought it captured their dignity, and the beauty of their character, which I and the rest of our family have always drawn strength from. They are truly monuments of resilience, goodness, and love. It was a special gift I think for dad, because they have both experienced of late the trials that many of our elderly face each day. Please pray for my grandparents with me, that they may face these years, as they have all those before them, with the same grace and perseverance.
