St. Thomas More Catholic Church: Crucifix and Resurrection Window

This is my first attempt at drawing realistically with colored pencils - The scene is from the sanctuary of my home parish, St. Thomas More. I've always loved the way that beyond the Cross lies the resurrection. The Crucifix is definitely the most striking work of art in the Church. I've always found it significant that on the Corpus, Christ seems to be looking directly downwards. The Altar is exactly underneath his gaze. "Behold the Lamb of God, Who takes away the sins of the World." Praised be Jesus Christ! Now and Forever!
