Stations of the Cross: Jesus is nailed to the Cross

This is the first attempt I am making this lent to complete the stations of the Cross, which I began during lent two years ago. I still need to do drawings of the third fall, Jesus stripped, and the entombment. This image is also taken from the Passion of the Christ - a very interesting decision was made by Mel Gibson in this part of the film - to film his hand holding the nail - his left hand, "the sinister hand." We could all be filmed for this part, couldn't we? Lord, have mercy on us.
